A Gentleman’s Quarters
Located on the second floor overlooking the veranda and lush gardens, this room was occupied by each of the Jackson boys when they were old enough to care for themselves, as these quarters provided no servant’s entrance. The room is adorned with fine paintings of hunting dogs and is furnished with a pair of Queen Anne high-back chairs, beautifully carved breakfront, and a four-poster king bed residing atop an antique needle point rug. The breakfront was given to Mr. Jackson upon completion of Rosemary Hall by the Governor of Georgia. The private bath has a shower/tub combination and a closet for your convenience. *The room is 256 square feet, bathroom is 55 square feet, for a total of 311 square feet.
