A Gentleman’s Quarters

Located on the second floor overlooking the veranda and lush gardens, this room was occupied by each of the Jackson boys when they were old enough to care for themselves as these quarters provided no servant’s entrance. The room is adorned with fine paintings of hunting dogs and is furnished with a pair of Queen Anne high-back chairs, beautifully carved breakfront, and a four-poster king bed residing atop an antique needle point rug. The breakfront was given to Mr. Jackson upon completion of Rosemary Hall by the Governor of South Carolina. The private bath has a shower/tub combination and a closet for your convenience.
