Alexander Suite
Originally the bedroom of younger daughter Edith Barrington Jackson, this room became the home to Edith and her husband James Bishop Alexander after their marriage in 1913. This elegant corner suite on the second floor looks out past the grand columns to the fountain of Calhoun Park and is richly decorated in hues of aqua and gold. This room is complete with a four poster bed adorned with lush silk bedding and draperies beaded with crystal, a hand carved writing desk, armoire and dresser. The large sumptuous bath features a period claw foot tub, double vanity and walk-in shower.
